I trained as a surgeon at the Universidad de los Andes in Santiago de Chile and studied my specialty in Neurosurgery at the Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge. My training has enabled me to work judiciously and efficiently, making the best use of the most advanced technologies. I believe that, in addition to successful surgery, it is necessary to educate the patient, including an honest approach to expectations, and encourage them to participate in their path to health.
